Professional Attributes
Describe an achievement that best demonstrates your resilience, initiative or leadership.

My entrepreneurial journey has taught me resilience, initiative and perseverance. From a failed hair-supplies business to becoming a makeup and lash artist and launching my footwear brand, I have continually adapted, rebuilt and pushed forward while maintaining strong academic performance.

Describe a time you received constructive criticism. How did you respond?

In Part 2 of law school, I became a class rep for a class with people three times my age. I was told I could not do it and was given advice on handling difficult classmates. I did not let the criticism discourage me; instead, I used it as motivation

Commercial AwarenessBusinesses increasingly expect lawyers to provide commercially practical solutions not merely legal opinions.
Tell us about a recent legal, business or economic development that you believe every corporate lawyer should understand.

The amended GIPC law removes the minimum capital requirements previously imposed on most foreign investors, giving them greater flexibility in determining their investment in Ghana. However, the US$1 million minimum for foreign trading enterprises remains. Every corporate lawyer must understand this change because it directly affects how foreign clients structure investments and enter the Ghanaian market, enabling lawyers to provide accurate, commercially relevant advice.

EthicsYou discover that a senior lawyer has mistakenly included confidential information belonging to another client in a document that is about to be sent.
What would you do?

I would quietly inform the senior lawyer before the document is sent and make sure the confidential information is removed. I would handle it discreetly, keeping the affected client’s confidentiality.
