Professional Attributes
Describe an achievement that best demonstrates your resilience, initiative or leadership.

I conducted training in Public speaking across few African Countries in 2025. The initiative was birthed out of the desire to help people develop their communication skills. The planning and execution was tough but I had to maintain focus and resilience to bring it into fruition.

What do you believe distinguishes an exceptional lawyer from a competent lawyer?

An exceptional lawyer is committed to excellence and he raises the standard. An exceptional lawyer is brave enough to go beyond limits and leave a lasting impact in his environment and the various people he conducts legal work for. a competent lawyer just follows the norms.

Describe a time you received constructive criticism. How did you respond?

I gave a presentation on the topic "the ships of leadership'. The feedback given was that I had the confidence and great delivery. However, I needed to improve my gestures and pacing. I appreciated the feedback made me intentional when on stage.

Commercial AwarenessBusinesses increasingly expect lawyers to provide commercially practical solutions not merely legal opinions.
Tell us about a recent legal, business or economic development that you believe every corporate lawyer should understand.

The Ghana Investment Promotion Authority Act, 2026 (Act 1173) has replaced the old Act. The new Act has promoted to GIPC into an Authority and made changes regarding certain key trading enterprise sectors. The new Act requires registration certificates to be renewed yearly instead of every two years. The new Act needs to be well understood by every corporate lawyer since it plays a key role in the kind of advice to be given to international clients seeking to invest in businesses in Ghana.

EthicsYou discover that a senior lawyer has mistakenly included confidential information belonging to another client in a document that is about to be sent.
What would you do?

I will immediately prompt the senior lawyer about this confidential information and bring his attention to the fact that the confidential information belongs to another client. This will save the firm of breaching confidentiality requirements.
